The Burn prevention and awareness program aims to drive greater awareness amongst the Egyptian community on burns prevention and the correct first aid treatment for burns.

Burn awareness for children:

Did you know that the most common cause of burn injuries to children is not fire, but rather scalds from liquids such as hot drinks and tap water? Most of these burn injuries are preventable.

The majority of child burns occur in the home. Most of these injuries could have been prevented by awareness and burn prevention education. Ahl-Masr Foundation is dedicated to reducing these needless tragedies through the education of parents, caregivers, and children on lifesaving burn and fire prevention skills.

It only Takes one second!

Children under five are at higher risk for burn injury than any other age group. It only takes one second! is a comprehensive burn prevention program that teaches prevention tips to parents and caregivers of young children. 

The program is presented in-person at pre-and primary schools.

Burn Awareness for Adults

 Ahl-Masr Foundation is also dedicated to providing awareness programs for adults, whether university youth or companies and corporates, about burn prevention methods and safety instructions, and how they should deal with serious burns accidents and disasters to protect themselves.

And as we also mention that the majority of the burn accident took place at home, especially in the kitchen, The Foundation’s awareness programs and activities give a strong focus on mothers and how they can protect their children from the dangers of burns and kitchen burn accidents.
