An operating table is a table on which a patient lies during surgery in an operating room. The purpose of the operating table is to: keep the patient still while the medical team works. They may move different parts of the body, using the surgical table attachments, to facilitate access to the appropriate site for surgery. The position of the operating table can be adjusted to the desired height and length, and it can be tilted to either side or horizontally. The head part is removable.
